Regular informal feedback loops. Advice on specialization areas (structural, stratigraphic, reservoir, etc.).
Act as go-to option for day-to-day questions. Share tips on how things actually get done (beyond formal training). Provide informal guidance — share personal experiences and lessons learned.
Introduce new hire to teammates and key contacts. Invite/encourage participation in team discussions and activities. Guide rather than solve — help new hire learn where to look for answers.
Share constructive, informal feedback when helpful. Briefly meet with Mentor to highlight what the new hire is doing well.
